  My kids attended the Innovation campus from kindergarten to 2nd grade. We were very happy and after purchasing a house in Mandarin we decided to move them to the Mandarin campus. It only took a few months to realize this was a total mistake. One of the things we loved about the Innovation campus was how much the staff and teachers cared and really seemed involved with all of the students. The Mandarin campus is not that way. I felt our kids were being treated as a number and even when you come into the school you are not greeted with warm welcomes like the other one. Just after starting my son started having trouble with two boys and eventually the boys began messing with his twin sister. We were called to the school for a conference with the dean and after that one meeting it was clear that she was not concerned about my children’s well-being. She made accusations that had no backing, she refused to listen to both of my children’s concerns and complaints about the other students and she completely disregarded the fact that one of the boys hit my daughter. She was the straw that broke the camels back. After leaving my husband and I felt that our son, who has never had a behavior problem before was completely targeted and was being ganged up on so we immediately removed them from that location and put them back at Innovation. The worst part is that I have referred so many people to this school because of the wonderful experience we had at Innovation. Unfortunately those I have referred have had a similar experience. The Mandarin campus has a long way to go to measure up to Innovation and as long as they have The dean there I don’t see it getting much better. She should not be allowed to work with children. I would highly recommend the Innovation campus but would discourage anyone from enrolling in the Mandarin location at this time!

  Principle is very nice, when ever you go into his office you always leave with some kind of reward its very nice. Ms.Rose isn't always the nicest dean, but she has her good moments and she does good things for our community. One example is she has a group of kids doing a project with the all things new orphanage and is getting them to buy things to donate. That is a good thing.
