  I have now had to lay both of my parents to rest. When my Mother passed away we were not aware of Lampkins Patterson. I have to say that I am so happy that we did our research when my father recently passed as we did not have the best experience when my Mother passed in 2013. Lampkins Patterson is the way to go if you have to lay your loved one to rest. Not only is the team at Lampkins Patterson, polite, professional, and caring, they also do not make you over pay for services. They have a very nice location. It is not old and dated, it does not have a funeral home "smell". Instead it is painted and bright with uplifting colors; (I know I did not need any help being sad, depressed and full of heartache.) It is a positive environment, and not a downer. They have a room to host a reception in after your service. (This made things so much easier on our family, there was no discussion of who's house was large enough to hold the reception afterward.) You are able to play music of your choosing, and share a slide show of photo's of your loved one. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Darrell and the team at Lampkins Patterson made laying my Father to rest so much easier than the experience we had with our Mother. God forbid I have a need for them again, but if I do, they are now our family go to for all our funeral service needs. Thank You, Tina Allen
